Gina Costa
A Museum curator and lecturer on 20th century art and photography, Gina Costa began making photographs as a child.
Her love of the photographic image brought her to explore and experiment with various strategies and approaches within the medium.
Gina has worked at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC; The Art Institute of Chicago; Memorial Art Gallery, Rochester NY; and has taught art history at a variety of universities. Gina is an award-winning photographer, whose work has been exhibited in art galleries across the United States and Europe, and has been featured on a variety of websites and publications. Gina is currently working on a publication that explores the current discourse of mobile photography and how it has changed the way one defines what a photograph can be.
