​Lanie Heller - NEM Founder Artist

Lanie Heller, a part-time postpartum doula, a full time observer of the world & an iphoneartist.

I began as a photography major back in art school in the days of analog, but my art & photography fell by the wayside when I became a mother in 2007. In 2010 I got my first iPhone and discovered the world of photo editing apps and have been hooked ever since. I love having my camera right there ready to shoot at any given moment and having a portable studio right in the palm of my hand. No longer do I spend hours mixing chemicals and processing in a darkroom or tedious hours editing on a computer from DSLR shots. The world of mobile arts is quickly becoming the latest genre of photography and it's so exciting to be a part of it!
