Lene Basma - NEM Founder Artist
Born in 1970, one son (1998), divorced. I come from and live in Drammen, Norway. Professionally, an Architecture Major, with a PhD in Urbanism.
In the course of my education I have lived and studied both in the US and in Berlin (my son´s father is German).
I have has been involved in mobile photography and -artistry since 2010.
I started drawing and making images as a result of getting a chronic diagnosis, so in most of my work I explore reactions and emotions in a rather therapeutic way. In lack of models and opportunities to shoot in a studio, I often use myself and/or mannequins in my imagery.
