“The challenge was to post an image in which one-ninth of the viewfinder has something, while the other 8/9 have one color or one texture. The result was a month of minimally “occupied” space, but gorgeous images. More than 60 images followed the rules of the challenge, which made it difficult to choose only eight. These one-ninth images evoke much larger emotions and questions.”
